Nissan supports communities affected by 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

  Standing in solidarity with those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will provide support of ¥50 million to assist relief and recovery efforts through financial contributions and relief supplies. An amount of ¥30 million will be donated to Japan Platform, a certified non-profit organization engaged in emergency humanitarian assistance. This amount includes Nissan's matching contribution to donations made by employees who wish to support relief efforts directly. In addition, Nissan will work closely with Nissan Kyushu, Nissan Shatai Kyushu, Nissan sales companies and parts distributors to provide relief supplies based on the needs of affected communities. Nissan and its employees extend their sincere condolences to those who lost loved ones and their heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the earthquake. The company remains committed to supporting recovery efforts and will continue to provide assistance based on the evolving needs of affected communities.
